A Medieval Fair took place in Brazil. Even Covid 19 could not become an obstacle to the fair! The event was held online due to the ongoing quarantine in the country. The fair gathered musicians, artists, handcrafts and many “visitors” that were eager for a real medieval fair.

But at least they can share experiences and hope in this digital world and learn more about HMB movement during that. There were activities, chats and musician exhibitions. People could donate and there were small endorsers.

Daniel Felipe, representative of the Brazilian HMB Movement, was a guest of the online broadcast. During the conversation with the presenter, Daniel talked about the HMB sport and answered questions from the audience. In addition, as part of the conversation, duel battles from tournaments held in Sao Paulo before quarantine were demonstrated.

The topic caused a stormy reception from the audience and he was literally bombarded with questions. Basically, Daniel talked about the sport itself, the HMB Championship Battle of the Nations and the HMB Brazil national team. The audience was also interested in how you can start engaging in historical medieval battles, rules, and Daniel’s own impressions of the championships that he personally attended.

In addition, visitors to the virtual fair could purchase their favorite products from the diverse assortment presented at the fair and listen to musicians’ intros.

According to Daniel Felipe, the event in this format turned out to be diverse, interesting, and most importantly, very useful:

“It was fun. A nice initiative from an organizer. That was good for most artists because they just have no income in quarantine”.

As we can see, even quarantine does not stop people who are in love with history, music, creativity and HMB. We thank Daniel and his associates for their constant work to promote the Historical Medieval Battle, including such super-modern methods!
