Briefly about the AC main work directions

Despite constant restrictions related to Covid 19 and widespread cancellations or rescheduling of tournaments, the Authenticity Committee headed by Milica Kovacevic did not remain without work.

“In these trying times, it’s important to stay vigilant and help people fix their equipment before the big events”, said Milica.

According to her, active work is being carried out in three directions at once:

  • correction of the current rules and regulations;
  • preparation of documents announced during the HMBIA General Assembly 2020 that was held online;
  • training for new Authenticity Committee officers.

As you all know, the process of making AC rules and regulations documents started some years back. But some rules and regulations, especially the ones published in the beginning, need expanding and additional clarifications of some issues.

The head of the Committee also noted that these are far from all the ideas her team plans to implement:

There is always room for some improvement. But we are trying to fully implement the new AC structural concept as easily as possible. Also, the plan is to have Committee representatives and officers more activated on the local level.”

After the revisions of the published documents are done, there is an idea to translate them to other languages to make the communication between the HMB community easier.

We will inform you about the changes in the structure of the Authenticity Committee and other news about its activities in our next publications.
