HMB sport and its Soft discipline are quite popular in Germany. The TUS Warfleth HMB club chapter practice both directions of the sport. It has two teams: the adult buhurt team Ramstäk-Frisia and the Ramstäk-Kids. Michael Tegge is the trainer for adults and kids. He is sure that and he usually tells his students that discipline is important:

“I tell them that it is important to take part in the training sessions as often as possible. If they want to participate in tournaments, they have to work hard! It will be very sad if they don’t train enough. I explain them exactly the exercise, how to do it and why they have to do it. What is the reason for a good defense and when is a good time for attack or response. We start our trainings with the standard warm up or battle games. Children like it. Games are important for kids. We make a little bit of workout like push ups, sit ups , gymnastic lessons and of course we fight duels”, – told us Michael.

The TUS Warfleth constantly develops and had some workshops led by Ali Askerov, the HMB Soft curator in 2018 and 2019, and Sergey Myasishchev, head of the Marshals Committee in 2018. It is important for young HMB Soft athletes to try the training program of another specialist. Ali Askerov shared a lot of interesting and useful aspects of the sport during his fighting workshop.

The Ramstäk-Kids is quite successful. Children of this club took part in the HMB Soft Open German Championship two years in row and in 2019 they participated in the World Championship:

“We joined the HMB Soft World Championship in Riga in 2019 and our girl Merle Bruns won the 4th place in the ranking in her age category and the gold medal in team fight with mates from Poland and Russia together”.

The Ramstäk-Kids team has really great results for now and we are sure that there are more victories ahead!
