On June 26, in the USA, in the state of California, another HMB tournament was held, completely dedicated to fights in duel categories. According to Joseph Cadieux, the event organizer, the tournament was attended by 36 fighters (men and women).
Such a solid number of participants is explained by the growing interest of duels among HMB athletes in the USA.
“We conducted fights for the Men’s and Women’s Polearm, Longsword, Sword and Shield and Sword and Buckler categories. We had attendance from individuals as far away as Illinois, Florida, Colorado as well as many local Southern California teams in attendance.
There were a few fighters who were brand new, however overall the level of fighting was very high. Some of the top duelists from all over the US attended the event”, said Joseph.
